Refund Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
The short version: try Verbatim free first. If you upgrade to Pro and it is not for you, ask within 7 days of your first Pro payment and we will refund it in full. You can cancel any time, online, in a few clicks.
7-day refund on your first Pro payment
If you subscribe to Pro for the first time, you can request a full refund of that first $29 payment within 7 days of the charge, for any reason. When we issue it, we also cancel the subscription so you are not charged again, and your account returns to the free plan. This applies once per customer.
Renewals and partial months
After the first payment, monthly renewals are not refunded, and we do not prorate refunds for unused days in a month. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
Exceptions
- Billing errors. If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, we refund the error in full.
- Extended outages. If Verbatim is unavailable for an extended period because of a problem on our side, contact us and we will make it right with a credit or a partial refund.
- Required by law. If the law where you live gives you a right to a refund or a cancellation period, that right applies in addition to this policy.
How to request a refund
Email support@verbatimcoach.com from the address on your account with the subject “Refund.” Include the date of the charge. Charges appear on card statements as VERBATIMRENTALS. We aim to reply within two business days.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks usually post them within 5 to 10 business days.
How to cancel
Sign in, open Billing, choose Manage billing, and cancel in the Stripe customer portal. You do not need to contact us to cancel. If something goes wrong, email us and we will cancel it for you.
Before you dispute a charge
Please contact us first. We can usually resolve billing questions faster than a card dispute, and a dispute can pause your account while it is reviewed.
