How to repurpose content as a coach
Repurposing means taking one piece you already made and reshaping the same idea for each place your clients read. It is less work than writing from scratch, and the message stays consistent.
Below is the method, then a worked example from Verbatim's public sample page. The sample's author and article are made up to show the format.

The seven steps
- Pick one source you already made: Choose one piece with a single clear idea: a blog post, a newsletter, a captioned YouTube video, or a call or webinar transcript. One idea per source keeps every format focused.
- Collect two or three of your past posts: Your own past posts are the voice reference. Without them, any AI writer falls back to a generic tone.
- Turn the source into a thread: Lead with the core claim, give one point per post, and end with a takeaway the reader can use on their next call or session.
- Turn the same idea into a LinkedIn carousel: One idea per slide, a headline of a few words and one supporting sentence. Export as a PDF; LinkedIn shows PDF documents as swipeable carousels.
- Write the newsletter version: A subject line, preview text, a short intro, three to five short sections, and one call to action, usually a reply.
- Write video hooks and a short script: Opening lines you can say in the first three seconds, plus a 30 to 60 second outline with on-screen text for Reels, TikTok or Shorts.
- Edit, check facts, then post: Read every draft against the source. Remove anything the source does not say, then post or schedule across the week.
Worked example: one article, four formats
Source: an example article about discovery calls, titled "Stop presenting in the first four minutes". Here is what each format looks like.
- Thread opener: "Most discovery calls fail in the first four minutes. The consultant starts presenting before they understand the room."
- Carousel (8 slides), first slide: "Stop presenting in the first four minutes"
- Newsletter subject line: "The four minutes that decide a discovery call"
- Video hook: "Your discovery call is decided in the first four minutes."
- Video script: "One sentence before the slides", 45 seconds in 4 beats
Which source to start from
- Blog post or newsletter: the easiest source, already written. See blog to LinkedIn post.
- Captioned YouTube video: works when the video has captions.
- Podcast or webinar: paste the transcript.
- Notes: paste them as text.
Common mistakes
- Copying the same text into every channel instead of reshaping it.
- Letting AI add stories, client results or numbers that are not in the source. Delete them.
- Covering three ideas in one carousel. Split them into three carousels.
- Skipping your own voice samples, so the drafts sound generic.

How do coaches repurpose content?
Pick one source with one idea, then reshape it for each channel: a thread, a LinkedIn carousel, a newsletter and short-video hooks. Edit each draft against the source before posting.
Can AI repurpose content in my voice?
AI writers match your voice best when you give them two or three of your own past posts. Verbatim asks for these voice samples and writes all four formats from one source.
How many posts can one article become?
With the method above, one article becomes one thread, one carousel, one newsletter and several video hooks with a script outline.
